Pet Grooming

We offer grooming service package to keep your pets feeling and looking their best. Your pet must be current on the vaccines to use of our grooming services. If not we can vaccinate your pet on the same day of grooming.

Grooming pets vaccination  requirement:

DOGS-- rabies, canine distemper, parvo, corona, and bordetella
CATS-- rabies, feline distemper, calicivirus, panleukopenia, and feline leukemia

This is in order to protect their health and the health of other pets in our facility. If your pet has never been to our practice, you will be expected to provide proof of these vaccines or have them done here.

Ideally, pets coming in for their first groom here should be seen by the groomer to ensure they receive the grooming you want them to. You might want to consider scheduling an appointment to meet the groomer for your pet's first visit as you'll probably have some questions you'd like to have answered-- and our groomer may have several for you as well.

A consultation with the groomer is provided at no charge.

As part of grooming package we bath your pet. Bathing frequency varies with type of breed, hair coat, and life style and even with season.  All these factors state how often they require bathing and what sort of shampoos work best. Avoid bathing too often as it may strip vital oils and protection from your pet's coat and skin and cause flakiness and itching.

We also provide Therapeutic Bathing for your pet. We use medicated shampoos that remove loose hair, dry flaky skin, and other debris from your pet to help develop healthiest skin. We also provided flea treatments bathing for your pet. For pets with chronic skin problems, we recommend scheduling regular appointments to help improve the effectiveness of the prescribed treatments.

As a part of the grooming package we offer nail trimming for your pet. Trimming nails is very important for your pet's health. Untrimmed nails may break; crack and bleed profusely and even become infected. Long nails often get caught on furniture fabric or clothing and may be torn loose from the toe causing toe nail injuries. Long nails can even curl and grow back into footpad, making it painful or difficult to walk. If you are hearing your pet's nails click on the floor or the nails are getting caught in the rug, chances are it is time for a trim. Call us to schedule an appointment for a nail trim.

Other services included in the grooming package are Teeth brushing, ear cleaning and externally anal gland express.
